Abstract:
Employability and innovation: The example of the community-interest cooperative (SCIC) B323, a services cooperative run by students. Linked to the SSE Masters at the University of Poitiers, the social cooperative B323 is a community-interest cooperative (société cooperative d'intérêt collectif, SCIC) created as a simplified limited company (société par actions simplifiée, SAS). This is the first student cooperative offering services in the area of studies and consulting. The features of this cooperative foster the education and employment of its student members. This article first looks at the process of creating the SCIC, the fruit of several years of discussions among teachers, students and SSE practitioners. It then presents its organisation based on volunteer producers and the billing of customers for its services. Lastly, it describes its governance, which is multi-stakeholder, holacratic and transmitted from one graduation year to the next.
