Abstract: Often the tools of occupation futurology aim at determining jobs with prospects, necessary skills..., but seldom, at identifying the birth process of these occupations by analyzing the construction dynamics of new competences... Within the framework of this communication, we try, in this way, to answer these questions using a retrospective analysis focusing on the occupation of "nurse".
