Abstract:
Forms of well-being and consumer experiences: an application to the tourism sector This article aims to explore the concept of well-being by identifying the types of tourism experiences and the associated forms of well-being. A qualitative study on twenty-eight francophone tourists reveal different types of tourist experiences (commercial/non-commercial) and types of interaction (interaction/active participation) and identifies several forms of well-being. Managerial recommendations follow about how to improve tourism experiences for the different forms of well-being.
