Abstract:
Two years ago, in September 2002, the First European Summer University was organised by one of us in Valence (in the South of France). This research conference addressed key issues in entrepreneurship research highlighting some European specificities. Around 60 scholars attended the conference and shared ideas and recent results of research in entrepreneurship. The idea of this special issue started during the conference from which we could draw numerous articles.
