Abstract: This research questions the prospects for use of virtual reality as a tool for pedagogical innovation in higher education and its influence on the teacher-researcher. If literature allows us to pose an hypothesis of transformation of the posture of the teacher, the analysis of the discourse leads us to review this hypothesis. Given the pragmatic judgments of teacherson their activity, we then highlight the importance of other notions: adaptation, personal and cognitive development and competence
