Abstract:
The lecturers and the participants at the Rennes symposium were facing a major issue: what is the solidarity for the European Union? Such a question was meant to cause reactions and reflections as regards the future of a form of solidarity now under threat. While underlining the deficiencies and the limits of the European Union's action, the lecturers came to an agreement as regards the need to reshape European financial solidarity.
