Abstract:
After 70 years of Soviet power, Azerbaijan became independent again with the collapse of the USSR, in a difficult context, characterized by the necessary transition to the market economy, the availability of rustic industrial and technological equipment, in the process of obsolescence and rapid wear, and the open conflict with Armenia over the question of the occupation of Nagorno-Karabakh. Strength and weakness, oil and gas are the main vectors of national economic development, which poses many problems related to the transportation of these energy resources. Azerbaijan must find economic relays in the oil and gas windfall and develop a sustainable development strategy.
