Abstract:
Under the pressure of economical ideologies and the technological opportunities, companies have adopted process modeling for business redesign. On the contrary, during the last decade, under the influence of the object- oriented languages, information systems analysis methods turned away from the notion of process. An approach by classes of information, endowed with properties and behaviors which could make them autonomous, was privileged. However, an information system has been recognized very powerful for organizational changes ; thus, current methodological tendencies have paid a new attention to the role of users in the expression of requirements and turned again toward a process perspective. In this communication, we propose a set process models, using UML language, for specifying an information system.
