Abstract:
The first feature of the capitalist is his objective of monetary accumulation. For this purpose, the first thing to be done is the acquisition of the means of production (which are then profit-making). The second feature of capitalism is related to the rules, to the methods of acquiring its means of production for profit. The principle of ownership and the rights associated with it, deeply and widely shared, engraved in all the declarations of human rights and in the constitutions of all countries, lead to the subordination of worker-wage earners to owners. The first characteristic leads to the exploitation of workers, a subject widely studied. The second characteristic leads to the current wage relationship due to the increasing concentration of assets, a concentration which has been widely observed without considering the rules of acquisition which are the cause of it, as if they were self-evident, of course. The purpose of this article is therefore to propose the same rules of acquisition for all goods, including means of production for profit, i.e. the rules already applied for the acquisition of consumer goods or means of production for non-profit-making purposes. The application of these rules would result in a broad sharing of assets between shareholders and labour collectives and thus an equally shared power of decision, although still attached to the "property rights " , the strength of which cannot be denied, at all times. This article (1-) first of all reminds us the rules for the acquisition of means of production for profit , rules which are very different from those applied for the appropriation of other goods, including means of production for non-profit-making purposes, then (2-) explains some of the major consequences and finally (3-) proposes the application of the same rules of acquisition for all goods, thus allowing the company-corporation and the shareholders to be owners of the means of production (thus depositaries of the associated rights), each in proportion to their respective contributions to them.
