Abstract: During the AFEP-IIPPE conference, a plenary session with 7 researchers was organized on the theme: « The future of French schools of thought in economics ». I presented the perspective of the economics of convention. To be interested in the future implies to train students. However, when a student wishes to familiarize herself/himself with the economics of conventions (EC), it is impossible to give her/him a reference to read that would go around it.
