Abstract:
We propose to study individual sustainable practices, in relation or not with the market. A quantitative survey with 308 respondents highlights five components of sustainable practices : organic product purchase for environmental or health matters, fair trade product purchase for social matters and taste, and finally, economic and environmental uses. Five types of individuals are related to these five components of practices : two types who buy products and also have environmental uses, one type who adopts environmental uses only, one type who buys only sustainable products and one type of non-concerned individuals.
