Abstract:
Diversification activities are development strategies for agricultural enterprises. These alternatives strategies are analyzed by the boundary of the firm theory and applied to wine industry. From the 1988-2000 agricultural census and survey structure that followed, we show that the resources, skills, environment in which farm evolue and, more moderate, the specificity its assets are key factors to understanding the choice for farmer to diversify.
