Abstract: Dans l'article introductif d'une série de travaux sur les négociations commerciales, les auteurs synthétisent les avancées des négociations sur l'agriculture dans le cadre de l'Organisation mondiale du commerce depuis 1994. Ils présentent les divers points d'achoppement qui ont jusqu'ici empêché un accord. Ils montrent aussi la convergence qui a été peu à peu obtenue sur certains dossiers, et en particulier les points décidés lors de l'accord cadre de juillet 2004.
