Abstract: For the neo-classicals, liberal globalisation was supposed to lead to peace . This model was considered to be economically and politically optimal. Globalization was "happy". However, the facts have never validated this hypothesis, particularly because of the permanence of the stakes of state power. More seriously, globalization leads to a form of privatization of states and the artificial maintenance of American hegemony.
