Abstract:
Liberal economists present a pacifying paradigm of economics, with the theories of competitive exchange, imperfect competition, and the use of economics as a weapon. Conflict theories are found in mercantilism, protectionism and class conflict. Many strategies of economic warfare have been developed through boycotts, embargoes and all other forms of weapons designed to coerce an adversary or enemy.
