Abstract:
This article proposes to henceforth consider the activities of knowing (creation, exchange, re-use) like a complex form of participation and voluntary co-operative exchange of the individuals in restricted informal collectives, using the concept of community of practice. We will show the genealogy of this concept and its concepts of reference, by showing why these new units of coordination make it possible to effectively treat crucial knowledge opposed to the traditional hierarchical structures of the organizations.
