Abstract:
This paper focuses on the "liberating management" model and its implementation in France. The article first attempts to characterize this model through the writings of its promoters and a field survey in three emblematic companies: Favi, Poult and Chrono Flex. He then deals more specifically with the implementation process of the model and the driving force behind this diffusion. To analyze it, the theory of managerial modes is first mobilized and gives first clarifications, but also shows limits. In order to deepen the understanding of the phenomenon, the diffusion of the model is studied from a socio-material point of view.
