Abstract:
This pape reviews the methods that can be used for evaluating the costs of health damages due to air pollution. The methods are applied to the region of Greater Paris. The epidemiology is based on ERPURS, a major recent study of aute health effects in Paris, as well as international studies. The costs are dominated by the chronic effects of particles on mortality.
