Abstract:
In France, sport is the second cause of accidents in everyday life, all ages combined, after domestic activity. Sport is therefore not just an exercise that improves the health of individuals. Athletes benefit from the principle of affiliation, but in different ways depending on their status (professional or amateur) and the country. Nowadays, traditional relationships are being called into question in France, with a view to taking better account of risks and a better-adapted prevention policy.
