Abstract:
The main objective of this research is to propose a conceptual model to evaluate the moderating role of affiliation to a professional organization in the relationship between Market Orientation (MO) and Business Performance. A survey conducted on a sample of 250 Very Small Enterprises (VSEs) enabled the collection of primary data. The results show that VSEs affiliated to a professional organization have a higher level of MO and therefore benefit from an increased performance.
