Abstract:
This study focuses on food production and consumption in Venezuela, a country living a humanitarian crisis since 2013/2014. We propose an action research pilot project in Rangel (Mérida, Venezuela) to assess how local food systems could compensate for the destruction of the national system, building a food security.
