Abstract:
The objective of this paper is to present the main advances on mindfulness in the workplace over the past ten years and its effects in companies. While we are witnessing the emergence of a literature dedicated to mindfulness, this theme still suffers from a lack of consensus as to its conceptualization. After having clarified the concept and based on a systematic literature review and analysis, this article aims to understand the effects of mindfulness in companies. The automated data processing was done with TROPES and the graphic extension GEPHI. The result is an integrative framework synthesizing knowledge on the subject which lays the theoretical foundation for future research. The results and their analysis show the importance of mindfulness and its effects on organizational reactions and behaviors that impact employees' performance. We also propose avenues of investigation to feed the dynamics of this field of research.
