Abstract: There are a number of Indigenous communities in Paraguay that have had to move around geographically during the years, but have tried to maintain of their custom and way of life. There are several reasons: the construction of large areas of land to accommodate the growing population and the need for industries to support the expansion, such as dams and reservoirs etc. by the surrender of its original territory to other population groups or agricultural and industrial corporations. The present work focuses on making a social and ethnographic study in the district of Sauce. The hypotheses are: Have they suffered influences? To what extent do they maintain their customs and traditions? The method used to study are as follows a. ethnographic observation by conducting interviews b. bibliographic tracking c. biographies.
