Post-Print from HAL
Abstract:
This article introduces the beginner user to the implementation of discriminant analysis via the DISCRIM procedure of the SPSS for Windows software. This implementation concerns the classification of individuals characterised by quantitative variables, assigning them to groups a priori by means of discriminant functions. The outputs of the software are commented by the presentation of the discriminant analysis form associated with each of the results obtained .
