Abstract: Understanding the challenges of hospital management implies understanding the pressures on healthcare professionals in a changing contexte of economical and new performance contraints, while attempting to recognize the health professions that are facing a shortage of health care workers. In front of these notions of efficiency and productivity, that are new for the Hospital, the application of the Porter value chain shows that the main resource of the Hospital is its human resources, and that the purpose of the Porter Value chain process is not only a good quality of care but also healthcare professionals satisfaction. It is then necessary to strive to develop an organizational environment conducive to well-being, staff satisfaction and quality of care, an environment in which everyone is in control. The example of the North American magnetic hospital, reveals certain key factors of success, of this new hospital organization that it seems urgent to set up.
