Abstract: While video games, like advertising, contain almost systematically music, marketing literature does not address the effects of musical stimulus on the consumer experience of game. This work is a first step towards study of musical influence in this context. Anchored in the experiential marketing literature, this work focuses in particular on the relationship of musical experience, immersion, the flow and evaluation of the game An experiment conducted on 202 players in a driving simulator (Motostorm) is presented and the results from a structural equation model are presented.
