Abstract:
Nowadays, the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated enterprises' Business models disruption. Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are no exceptions; they are expected to develop new value creation strategies that go beyond merely remote teaching. Despite the relevance of this issue, little remains known about how the HEI Business Model is evolving. This paper empirically investigates how HEI may innovative their BM through the usage of innovative pedagogical practices. A qualitative case study has been carried out on the business Ludoparty project. This project study the managers' perceptions about using student's designed escape games for Digital Transformation awareness for pre-digital enterprises. The study revealed that online escape games are an attractive pedagogical practice for pre-digital enterprises. The industrial partners were motivated to acquire student's games for their vocational training. The main originality of this paper is in addressing a research gap at the intersection of effective pedagogical practices and BMI in the HEI context.
