Abstract:
This article examines, in relation to the theory of the psychological contract, the meaning of internal mobility for executives. Based on three case studies, the research highlights the key role of internal mobility in psychological contracts. One of the cases studied reveals a new form of psychological contract : commutability versus fluidity. This commutability is a new "meta-competence", necessary for career development in the agile company.
