Abstract:
The creation of several ‘free ports' in the United Kingdom (UK) was confirmed in February 2020 and so far the Brexit negotiations have not addressed whether competition rules apply in the UK, in particular state aid rules. Will there be a competitive advantage in free ports with free access to EU ports?
