Abstract: The links between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development (SD) have been the subject of several academic works and research in a constantly growing field. However, co-thematic research is still new and has not been fully investigated. In this article, a bibliometric analysis using R software is applied to analyze and visualize the knowledge map of CSR research related to SD. The main results regarding the involvement of CSR in SD show a dynamic and flourishing research agenda. The network of co-authors is fragmented, while transnational cooperation among several groups exists. The current study sheds new light on the scientific production through bibliometric analysis (Bibliometrix). A total of 1469 articles published between 2000 and 2021 were analyzed. The results of this research showed that corporate social responsibility is one of the most important variables in sustainable development and that keywords such as performance, governance and management are closely related. The article offers insights for future research in this area.
