Abstract:
In 1938 and 1939, Jean de Largentaye detected seven minor mistakes in the original version of The General Theory. He pointed them out to Keynes who validated the corrections which he suggested. In 1967, when he revised the translation, Largentaye found two other mistakes, not as trivial as the first ones. Sraffa and R. Kahn, the literary executor of Keynes, validated Largentaye's corrections. These mistakes, except for one, were not corrected in the subsequent English editions.
