Abstract:
After having initially imposed itself on the international stage, particularly in terms of telephony, the European high-tech industry was quickly overtaken by the rapid rise in power of its American and Asian rivals. But while high tech still lags behind US and Chinese high tech, it is nonetheless advancing rapidly, spurred by ecosystem development and supported by the recent increase in its funding capabilities. A progression set to continue under the effect of the regulatory strategies implemented by Joe Biden and Xi Jinping, which, although inspired by opposing justifications, tackle dominant position abuses by their giants and facilitate the breakthrough of European champions.
