Abstract: Genetic self-tests in the European space (2000-2012): a health innovation regulated by the market? This chapter of the book provides quantitative data on the European market, while resituating them in the global market, and in their medical context (sociology of the professions, medicine, health, science and innovation), regulatory context (legal texts and approach) and socio-economic context (Kline and Rosenberg / Powell, Koput and White / Cooke, etc.).
