Abstract:
Contemporaneous companies must contribute to the resolution of many issues. Danone has committed itself to an all-out development of CSR. We develop an alternative reading of the Faber-Danone affair and underline the risks of a potentially counter-productive process of CSR development. In conclusion, we argue that companies should develop a genuine "discussion ethic" between stakeholders so that CSR "brings together more than it divides".
