Abstract: Brexit is changing some of the conditions under which fishing is carried out in British waters, and this is leading to a reorganization of coastal territories around the home ports of the fleets concerned. As part of the CymBreizh project, prospective scenarios were drawn up and discussed with stakeholders at two foresight workshops in Saint-Brieuc and Lorient (Brittany). This paper presents the scenarios and the main points of discussion they raised. It opens up perspectives for cross-Channel research on this issue, which will be back in the news in 2025 when post-Brexit agreements between the UK and the European Union are renegotiated.
