Abstract: In this article, we explore how crowdfunding could boost the agri-food transition. We have mobilized the multi-level perspective that considers transitions as the result of a dynamic process triggered by innovations and adopted by a set of user-consumers, leading to the implementation of new practices. We find that, crowdfunding is considered as an educational tool to raise awareness of transition's challenges. In addition, its success has attracted various actors that can foster the transition.
