Abstract: The CSR theme arouses as much interests as it causes controversies. Up till now, we think that the disagreements concerning its meaning is a matter of contest between one Liberal dominant paradigm (in which lies among others the Business Ethics) and the emergent paradigm, that of the Sustainable Development (SD) (in which lies the CSR). The future of the CSR is partly linked to the ability of the SD paradigm's persuasion.
