Abstract: Aiming at a better understanding of the contributions of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method for management education, our paper is based on the inductive analysis of the students' accounts of this experience. Our results reveal that the workshops are imbued with ambivalence resulting from both discomfort and letting go among students while underlining the experience of authenticity provided by the method. More specifically, our research enables us to consider this method as a way to awake students' authentic leadership by fostering self-awareness (self-knowledge, self-exposure and assertiveness) and interpersonal awareness (listening, empathy and humility).
