Abstract:
The purpose of this contribution is to evaluate the factors that may explain the employees' trust towards the leader in very small scale businesses in Benin. The scale of Campoy and Neveu (2006) has been used in part on a convenience sample of 130 employees' of small scale firms from different sectors. The information collected was processed using SPSS version 18 software. At the end of the study, findings show that the inputs « keeping promises » and « consistency » are positively and significantly correlated with the calculated trust. So are « Language » and « availability » with emotional trust. Likewise is « interest in career » input with the two components of trust but much more with calculated trust.
