Abstract:
This article uses the paradigm of gift/counter gift (don/contre-don) to analyze the modern relationship between worker and employer and its difficulties. It proposes to prove how the gift/counter gift theory is particularly illuminating for management to understand the present problems in employment relationship, at the same time that it demonstrates the difficulty to maintain such a dynamic in the actual social context.
