Abstract:
The emergence of the Industry 5.0 concept has put human needs at the heart of industrial processes. This raises the question of how new technologies can enhance the decision-making process of employees and influence the evolution of team autonomy. Recent literature shows that the best way to measure these impacts is to conduct experimentation in complex and realistic environment settings. This article contributes to this need by presenting a model for designing complementary use cases to evaluate the impact of new technologies on autonomy in a structured, realistic, and global manner. This 6-step model helps to define a coherent context specifying the autonomy, the technologies to be implemented, and their fields of action, as well as a detailed data collection protocol.
