Abstract: This article examines how the Anthropocene era leads us to reconsider the place of economic activities within the Biosphere. For this purpose, we focus on Nicholas Goergescu-Roegen's approach called Bioeconomics that highlights a new link of the economic system to both nature and time. Such a perspective brings useful insights for humanity that has to irrevocably live within planetary boundaries.
