Abstract:
Long-standing critics point to a certain loss of contact between the discipline of economics and its courses and reality: issues such as the ecological transition, health, social protection and inequalities are relatively absent from most courses. An exhaustive examination of the courses underlines the weakness of disciplinary openness and the takeover by neoclassical economists of the discipline's regulatory bodies.
