Abstract:
To understand how artificial intelligence affects society, it is necessary to locate it first in a broader set of systems and techniques that spread over society an infrastructure encouraging the development of control loops of social and economic activities. Then, we must remember that it is the result of an economy constantly striving to increase its productivity. In that sense, it is the endogenous product of the platformization of the world. Finally, immersed in society its unexpected and sometimes harmful effects become political topics. The main issue at stake is its legitimacy.
