Abstract:
A short synthesis, published in "The Conversation" media, of our research on the subject of Public Policies of "Smart City" and public value co-creation. Two key messages. First, the need to think of these policies as public policies, with as much importance as the other public policies led by public actors. This public policies need to be focused on the use cases of the digital technologies and the value created. Secondly, it is important to find a balance between proactive and open governance, to be able to adress the full scope of the digital technologies potential and the diversity of public values in which the territory's stakeholders are interested. A good way is to develop co-evaluation pratices besides co-creation pratices.
