Abstract: The behavior of managers is an important element to obtain a level of performance in permanent improvement of companies in general and banks in a particular. Indeed, it is a determining factor of the performance of the company. In the current socio-economic context characterized by several changes, the performance of banks is approached under various dimensions: commercial, economic, financial, managerial, organizational, social, etc. This research examines the contribution of the theory planned behavior on the performance banks. Thus, the main results to which we lead, show a positive and significant contribution of the main variables of this theory on the performance of banks. Infact, a successful performance of the bank is achieved through a strong positive intention of its managers to commit actions aimed at satisfying customer expectations, controlling costs, and processing times, mobilizing all employees, the management of risks and opportunities in the banking system, the optimal allocation human, financial and technical resources, and the continuous search for improved results.
