Abstract: By its sudden unprecedented nature and the collapse of traditional reference work points, the COVID-19 pandemic corresponds to a situation "vu jàdé", the opposite of "déjà vu". Some organizations, forced to operate remotely during periods of sanitary confinement, have been able to resist, or even reinvent themselves. Taking Karl Weick's "sensemaking" theory as a conceptual framework, this article aims to explore the human and organizational capacities in the deployment of remote work on a global scale during and after the COVID-19 health crisis. For this research, nine semi-structured interviews were conducted with employees working remotely, focusing on their daily work practices in connection with spatial arrangements, temporalities, communication practices with digital tools, and collaboration with other members of the organization. The four sources of organizational resilience proposed by Weick (improvisation and bricolage, virtual role systems, an attitude of wisdom, and respectful interaction) allowed us to draw some insights on how individuals demonstrated resilience through their daily work practices during this period, which we qualify as "resilience practices". The main contribution of this research is to render Weick's conceptual framework operational in a remote context.
