Abstract: Beyond the management rationale, there exists, in the work accomplished in hospitals, an invisible side which can only ever be given freely, made up of the necessary commitment, effort and ingenuity. It is essential that the real work carried out and everything which is assumed are seen and recognised. Managers must make sure of this by creating opportunities for dialogue.
