Abstract:
This article outlines an ongoing research project focusing on the issue of industrial packaging reduction in B2B relations within the automotive industry in France and, more broadly, in Europe. This project takes place within a context of transition towards decarbonized and ecologically sustainable supply chains. It is closely linked to the 2020 climate action plan drawn up as part of France's public policies. It marks the dawn of a new technological revolution combining circular logistics and sustainable packaging. Its aim is to design a circular logistics system specifically for B2B exchanges in the automotive industry. This concerns both the exploration of technologies for designing sustainable, reusable packaging and cushioning elements, and the structural and organizational set-up of a circular logistics system to implement them. The presentation of this project is structured around the highlights of the literature review, the formulation of research questions and its phasing.
