Abstract: The Encyclopedia of Sustainable Development is part of the innovative dynamic of the Popsu program, an ambitious initiative aimed at promoting knowledge and action in favor of sustainable development. This online work presents itself as a reference collaborative platform, intended to bring together a community engaged around the major issues of sustainable development. At the heart of this project is the desire to create a space for sharing and disseminating knowledge accessible to all, where the key terms and concepts of sustainable development are explained and detailed. The encyclopedia is not limited to an enriched glossary; it aims to become a true digital library bringing together articles, conferences, interviews, raw data and in-depth analyses. Each contribution aims to shed light on the different facets of sustainable development, by highlighting current challenges, innovative solutions and good practices to adopt. The Popsu project, by initiating this collaborative encyclopedia, recognizes the crucial importance of education and awareness to achieve sustainable development goals. Therefore, the platform is designed to be a dynamic and evolving tool, capable of adapting to scientific advances and societal changes. It aims to be a privileged place of exchange for researchers, practitioners, political decision-makers, but also for the general public wishing to obtain information and contribute to the ecological transition.
